TADs

TAD stands for Temporary Anchorage device. They are small screws that aid in orthodontic movement. These screws are placed in the bone during orthodontic treatment and removed when orthodontic treatment is completed. They allow for more complex orthodontic cases to be completed without changing neighboring positions of teeth.
