Laser Pocket Disinfection

This procedure is utilized when a localized pocket requires additional treatment because it is not responding to routine hygiene appointments. The laser is utilized to locally kill bacteria that are causing inflammation and bleeding. If left untreated these bacteria can cause further bone loss and can result in tooth loss.
