Dr. Tim Godsey:

My name is Dr. Tim Godsey. My practice is in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and we’re fairly close between Chapel Hill and Durham and right off the 15-501. When I was in college, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. And I thought I wanted to go into medicine, but I wasn’t really thrilled about being married to my career the whole time.

When we got to Perio, that involved trying to help people keep their teeth and trying to treat periodontal disease. And it involved some surgery and implants. And I decided that’s what I want to do. I knew right away. And I’m absolutely thrilled with what I do. I can’t imagine doing anything else. I love Perio. It’s a passion for me, for sure.

Carol Lockey, patient:

I wasn’t quite sure what to expect with an implant. But as soon as I got here, Dr. Godsey answered all my questions, he made me feel immediately at ease. It was clear that he knew exactly what he was doing. So I was really excited to have somebody that was that talented that was going to be able to do my implant.

To our staff, all the girls are fantastic with me, especially when I’ve gone under anesthesia, helping me and my wife get me back into the car. That little personal attention made the entire day or visit a lot, lot easier.

Unlike some places, they do a lot of follow-up. If you have a major procedure, you’ll get a call from Dr. Godsey that night or the next night. Just, “How you doing?” So I’ve been very impressed with their professionals.
